Hey there! My name is Makenzie Hawkins and I am the Worship Leader at Paradise Outfitter Ministries. I am married to the love of my life and very best friend, Stephen. We have two beautiful daughters, Paisley and Lainey. They bring such joy and excitement to our lives (and definitely keep us busy!) As a family, we enjoy being outside, hiking, fishing, four-wheeling, and camping. Our latest hobby has been renovating vintage campers! It’s so neat watching the old become new!

Music has always been a big part of my life. Nothing beats seating around a campfire with a guitar and singing with my favorite people. I have been a part of the worship team at Paradise Outfitter Ministries for over 10 years and have been the worship leader since September of 2013. Currently, we have a team of around 20 very talented and passionate musicians that rotate throughout the month. We truly are blessed with such an amazing group of people that bring us to the feet of Jesus in worship week after week.

I’d say the best way to describe our worship style is “unique.” We play anything from contemporary Christian music that you hear on the radio to old time hymns. Our sound would be best described as a bit rock, a bit folk, and a whole lot of country! ;)

It is an incredible feeling when the people of Paradise Outfitter Ministries are worshiping our Heavenly Father together. I feel so blessed to hold this position and I look forward to our worship services every week.
